Your brand is a promise to the customer. It tells them what they can expect from your products or services, it differentiates your offering from that of your competitors. The foundation of your brand is your logo, website, packaging and promotional material.

Consistent, strategic branding leads to strong brand equity, which means the added value brought to your company’s products or services which allow you to in time charge more for your brand than an identical but non-branded product. The most obvious example of this is Louis Vuitton vs a generic bag manufacturer.

Planning

First we sit down and discuss the feel of the brand or business and figure out a plan moving forward, discussing thoughts and ideas and most importantly the budget. Once approved we take a half payment and start on the next step

2. Mood Boarding

This is where I research and collect designs from around the web of how we felt the logo and brand should look and feel. Once the client approves the style we move forward to the next step.

3. Creation

I start creating and developing the logo and brand,  starting with the logo, where I will propose 4 to 6 logos or what the client and I decided on in step one. The client then chooses the best option and tells me if there is anything on their mind, based on that I will then create a second draft with cleanups and updates based on the chat and then hand it over for the client to choose the logo. During the third stage of the design I start researching some colours to use on the logo and the colours surrounding it as well, also based on the budget we will create or find patterns, icons and fonts the clients should use for their marketing material, business cards and letterheads, and the style or theme they should start using and developing in their marketing material.
